I love him

I love my husband so much - this is one of my favorite pictures of him because of the look he's giving me. He loves me so much and is so patient and makes me take just one day at a time. I look forward to the years to come because I know the best is yet to come! Each year gets more fun with Richard & he always brings a smile to my face.

Firetruck Photos

Marthe is awesome - we always have so much fun together & I'm so glad our relationship has grown over the years. One night she took me over to the firehouse to get my shot & she had a ball! We got our pictures on the firetruck but we also did the standard "firetruck" shot that I've shared with many people over the years out at the 5s...take a look at some of the highlights


Roommate & I had our firehouse pick one day in 2008 when she came over to my mom's for a Pampered Chef party and then came out to dinner with my parents - we have one from back in the day too but this is an updated one! We had to drop something off to Richard at the 6s!

Rockstars! Stephanie & I drove to work together for years and after a community service event for work one day we stopped out at the 8's for some DQ and the standard firetruck pic!

Corey came down on afternoon and we went to MK Totes with Crystal and her mom and then we went to the 8s to get some pics! My sister is awesome & I wish she lived closer so we could hang out more. Crystal & I have been through so much and she's everything I could ask for in a friend - she's been there for our best times & our worst times - and I love her just like a sister so I was really glad that the two of them got to come together with me to the firehouse.

And last, but certainly not least - the person who is the reason we do these firetruck pics - my husband Richard. Richard is the most amazing husband & I love all of our firetruck pictures because it not only shows what he's really passionate about, but I think it's super fun!!

Looking back at all these photos is fun - I hope we have many more to come in the future because every night spent at the firehouse is a fun one!

True Friends

The Hatfields & the Boyles are amazing - they are so much fun & we are so lucky to have them in our lives. This photo was taken at Fountain Square downtown Cincinnati (Sept '09) after our yummy lunch at Rock Bottom Brewery. Both Melanie & Crystal are pregnant and we can't wait to spoil both of those kids. Melanie (due at the beginning of Nov) is having a girl and Crystal (due in early March) is having a boy. We travel with them, meet for dinner with them, and always manage to have a great time with Jasen, Crystal, Melanie & Rob.

When I see this picture it just makes me smile because I realize how lucky Richard & I are to have such wonderful friends to go through life with!

Seeing this picture reminds me of one of my favorite pictures from Vegas (Feb '09) at the Wynn hotel - one thing to notice is that we're standing in the exact same order (but not on purpose!) :)

We hope they know how much they mean to us - we're looking forward to many memories in the coming years with this crew!

Sally's New Collar

Until we have children in our life, Sally is our world. The 3 of us (me, Richard & Sally) always seem to have so much fun together.

Richard & I took a trip up to the Sauerkraut Festival last weekend and we bought Sally a new teal collar from the people who made her original "name" collar - it's my favorite color & it looks so much better because it's so big! I had a photo shoot with her earlier this week because she was in such a good mood. We enjoyed being silly together. Richard just laughed at us!


I look at my life and I am truly blessed in so many ways. While some days are more challenging than others, each day I take time to remember how much I do have. Richard is supportive, loving, understanding, patient and each day I fall more in love with him. Sally is an amazing dog and truly loves me unconditionally. I enjoy coming home every day to her excitement!
